Just as my guest Heather Dalmage, on my podcast "Sociologists Talking Real Sh*t" predicted, it didn't take Whites long to abandon Black lives. It was easy to march against police violence, because it did not effect Whites directly and let them feel good about themselves. But when they have their "White skin" in the game and measures are created to combat systematic oppression and create a level playing field, too many run back to their safe place of "White privilege. Prove me wrong, vote yes on Prop 16 and tell a friend.
